Can you think of a better place to learn English than England?
London has long been known for Big Ben, the monarchy and many of its landmarks and traditions, but it is also one of the world's most cosmopolitan cities.
Here we will explore many of the landmarks, dive deep with the locals as you navigate your way through one of the largest markets of London and simply have lots of fun as your English improves quickly and naturally.
As with every retreat, the entire day is spent together. Thanks to this continuous interaction, you will considerably speed up your command of the language and get permanent and measurable results after this week of immersion.
The classroom training each day includes activities which cover speaking, listening, reading and writing skills, naturally including grammar and vocabulary.
The meals and additional activities allow us to place emphasis on practical communication to build up your vocabulary and help to develop fluency and confidence.

DAY 1 - THE ADVENTURE BEGINS
Once you arrive at your home for the week you will have some time to get settled and relax a bit.
We will have a welcome dinner, get to know the amazing people that will be on this journey with you and explore the neighbourhood for those who aren't jet-lagged.
DAY 2 - THE TOWER OF LONDON
Each day of the retreat starts with breakfast and some classroom time.
As soon as the classroom time is done we are going to start the trip off with The Tower of London. One of the most common sites to visit in London.
This is not just a castle but also a secure fortress and infamous prison.
Here we will visit the Crown Jewels during our visit to this Royal Palace.
DAY 3 - SEE IF YOU CAN MAKE THE GUARD MOVE!
You can’t visit London without seeing Buckingham Palace and witnessing the changing of the guard.
Although even more fun, are some selfies with the guards and attempting to get them to crack a smile or better yet, move!
DAY 4 - ACT LIKE TOURISTS
One of the first things that come to mind when I think of London is their bright red double-decker buses.
Today, grab your cameras and get ready to act like a tourist!
We are going to be doing the Double Decker bus tour.
DAY 5 - TEST YOUR SKILLS
Today we are visiting Borough Market in London Bridge, also known as “the king of London markets”
It heaves with locals gaping at a dizzying array of gastronomic delights.
It is packed with tourists, locals, artisan traders and a dizzying array of gastronomic delights.
You are going to put your skills to use today and do the shopping for our group cooking tonight.
Once we have finished our shopping we will take a short break at The Market Porter pub for an Ale. You may recognize it as it was used as the bookshop next door to The Leaky Cauldron in ‘Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban’
DAY 6 - FINAL DAY
After our typical breakfast, we will be saying our goodbyes.
